Carriers and administrators sometimes look for a comp UR vendor, an IME panel, or a state-certified comp reviewer. ArkMedis is none of those.

Long-term disability review, pharmacy-benefit review, and payment-integrity programs are not current products either. The list on For payers is the one to use when a request sits next to comp but is still not health-plan medical necessity review.
Questions
Do you perform workers’ compensation utilization review?
No. Workers’ compensation review, comp appeals, and impairment or disability evaluations are not offered.
Are you licensed as a workers’ compensation reviewer in any state?
We do not claim those licenses, a comp panel, or a state-by-state workers’ compensation map.
Can a health-plan medical necessity question be sent here instead?
Only when the engaging client is a health plan, TPA, or self-funded sponsor and the question is within review we actually do. Labeling a comp claim as a health-plan file does not make it one. Scope is confirmed before any record is sent.
Will this be added after TDI certification?
No. Texas IRO certification is a health-plan independent review pathway. It is not a workers’ compensation authorization, and we are not describing comp review as a later phase.
Comp files should go to a comp reviewer.
