Independence & integrity
Integrity and clinical independence are foundational. Reviewers evaluate medical necessity and appropriateness of care based on the clinical record and applicable standards — not on volume, relationship pressure, or case outcome incentives. Organizational processes protect independence and document the basis for each determination. We operate as an independent clinical review organization and do not claim nonprofit status.

Texas TDI IRO pathway
ArkMedis is pursuing / an applicant for Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Independent Review Organization certification — an honest operational fact reflected on this site. We do not claim “certified IRO” status until certification is actually held.
Cloud records stance
Electronic case records and the secure portal are designed around Google Cloud (US) with a Business Associate Agreement path and MFA before any PHI is accepted. Google Workspace already carries a HIPAA BAA for administrative mail — case PHI still must not go to public email or fax.

What we do not claim (yet)
We do not display URAC, HITRUST, NCQA, or “certified IRO” badges. Trust signals on this site are limited to facts we can defend today: nationwide independent review positioning, Houston primary office, Texas IRO applicant (TDI pathway), cloud PHI portal design, and Workspace HIPAA BAA in place.
