Two different conversations get mixed together under “providers.” This page separates them. ArkMedis reviews files for health plans and TPAs. We do not sell a provider-side consulting or software line.
Treating organizations
Hospitals, physician groups, and billing teams sometimes look for a vendor to overturn denials, run peer-to-peer programs, or support a corporate integrity agreement. That is not work ArkMedis sells.

If a plan has engaged ArkMedis, the clinical record may be part of that plan’s file. That does not make the treating provider our client.
Clinicians who review
The reviewer network is a separate path. Specialty-matched clinicians can ask about reviewing medical-necessity questions under Medical Director oversight.

What a plan review is
ArkMedis provides independent clinical review for the organization that engages us — typically a health plan, TPA, or self-funded sponsor. The work is medical necessity and appeal-ready rationale, not representation of either side in a dispute.
Not a 50-state network
We do not claim licenses in every state, a finished national panel, or accreditation seals. Coverage we can actually staff is on Specialties. Credentials we do not hold are listed on Security & Trust.
Questions
Do you represent treating providers in appeals?
No. When ArkMedis reviews a file, the client is the health plan, TPA, or plan sponsor that engaged us. We do not act as the treating provider’s advocate, billing agent, or attorney.
Can a hospital hire ArkMedis for denial management or revenue cycle work?
No. Denial campaigns, revenue-cycle consulting, payment-integrity products, and No Surprises Act independent dispute resolution are not offerings.
Do you staff peer-to-peer calls or place a medical director inside a plan?
No. Medical Director oversight is internal accountability for ArkMedis determinations. It is not on-demand physician staffing.
How does a clinician ask about review work?
Use Contact with non-PHI information only: name, specialty, board certification, and the licenses you actually hold. As of September 2026, Internal Medicine is the specialty we can staff. Other specialties are Building. There is no posted job list.
Do you license clinical peer-review software to providers?
No. There is no peer-review software product and no software demo. The portal is a case workspace for authorized users, not a product sold to hospitals.
Reviewer interest, or a plan question.
Clinician inquiries and plan introductions both use Contact. Do not attach patient records. Case PHI belongs in the portal only after that channel is open for an authorized user.
