Clinical accountability for ArkMedis determinations sits with our Medical Director. Plans sometimes use “medical director services” to mean something else: a physician placed on their org chart. That placement is not what we sell.
Dr. Yougandhar Akula
Medical Director. Board-certified in Internal Medicine. He provides clinical oversight so determinations stay evidence-based, specialty-aligned, and free from outcome incentives.
President Sunitha Mogalla leads operations and partner relationships from the Houston office. We do not describe them as a couple, and we do not add degrees or awards beyond what Leadership states.

ArkMedis is an outside reviewer. The plan remains the plan.

Can we hire your medical director to sit inside our plan?
No. Oversight is of ArkMedis determinations. We do not place, lease, or staff a medical director, medical director locum, or interim chief medical officer.
Who is the Medical Director?
Dr. Yougandhar Akula, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. Sunitha Mogalla is President and leads operations. Bios are on Leadership.
Does the Medical Director review every specialty?
Internal Medicine is the specialty we can staff today. Other specialties stay Building until a matched reviewer is actually available. The Medical Director does not stand in as every specialty.
Is this a legal or expert-witness retainer?
No. Written clinical rationale is for the engaging plan or TPA. It is not attorney work and not a marketed expert-witness product.
